Meet Our Team
Rogers Law is a full-service elder law and estate planning firm. As an elder law and estate planning law office, our elder law attorney prepares for the rising costs of long-term care and qualify for government benefits like Medicaid. We deal with our client’s lifetime needs and then address their needs after death.

Rogers Law Firm is composed of three strong independent women, each having different areas of specialization to help many unique clients in various aspects. We take pride in seeing our clients leaving our offices satisfied and feeling much lighter than when they initially came in.
Tamara L. Rogers
Esq- Attorney/Owner
Tamara was born in Chicago, Illinois. She went to Southern Illinois University- Carbondale after graduating from Morgan Park High School. After working as a social worker for four years, she decided to attend law school at DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois. Tamara was a Juvenile Magistrate for five years in Marion Circuit Court, where she heard paternity cases that were post-judgment, establishing, enforcing, or modifying support, custody and parenting time orders, and other various related family law matters. She also spent many years practicing in general litigation and family law. She handled all stages of the litigation practice from drafting motions, representing her clients in court, and participating in mediation and arbitration. Tamara decided to start her law firm to assist people through difficult family situations or help them with estate planning assistance.
Jewel L. Patterson
Paralegal
Jewel Patterson was born in Indianapolis, IN. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Community and Non-Profit Leadership at the University of Indianapolis. Jewel’s background is in both the educational and medical profession, having worked as a Resident Assistant at a private-owned senior living community and an educator at Turning Point Schools here in Indianapolis. She has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience in both of these essential roles and is so excited to integrate what she has learned into her position.
In her spare time, Jewel enjoys choreographing and ministering dance routines at her church, traveling and spending time with friends and family, babysitting, reading romance novels, and attempting DIY projects she finds on YouTube. Jewel considers herself to be a very adventurous individual and she loves trying new experiences. Currently, Jewel is teaching herself how to play the acoustic guitar, and she is also looking into learning how to ride a motorcycle.
Jewel is excited to operate in this position and is looking forward to serving you!
Alice M. Hobbs
Care Coordinator
Alice Hobbs, the Care Coordinator at Rogers Law Firm, has years of experience with caring for others through hospital and home. Her ministry in chaplaincy is utilized to comfort the bereaved. Having a loving and compassionate heart, Alice is a ray of sunshine to our clients as she serves as a guide during their respective journeys and as a source of consolation to those who are mourning the loss of a loved one or through difficult health challenges.
In her free time, you can find Alice with one of her favorite books sitting on a park bench enjoying God’s beautiful creation. Alice is a proud wife to her husband of 54 years, having three children and five grandchildren. Her future plans are to receive a bachelor’s degree in family counseling.
